The Rental Crisis Defense Fund is a 501(c)(4) advocacy organization founded to confront the growing crisis in the rental housing market. As affordable housing providers face mounting financial pressure, dangerous conditions, delayed court proceedings, and unfair policy proposals, this Fund is mobilizing a coalition of stakeholders to defend rental housing, support legislative reform, and protect the backbone of our affordable housing system good tenants. We believe that solving the rental crisis means empowering good tenants who make this city work and the people who provide housing, not punishing them.
